1973 VW Super Beetle 90% original, in good condition, for a 39 year old classic. This vehicle was purchased from the original owner and has been owned by the same family for 25 years. Interior is in fair shape with original door panels seats and headliner, the interior has wear, but it is not ripped up or modified. The dash is cracked due to our many days of sun and is covered with a dash mat. The drivers side carpet is worn from the 151000 miles of the left foot rubbing on the side and the passengers side floor mat is missing. The 6 year old Macco paint job is still looking good but does have its flaws and imperfections. The chrome trim was removed at that time and holes filled plus the radio has been replaced, which is the reason I list it at 90% original. The 1600 dualport engine was rebuilt around the same time as the paint job and is running strong. This is a rock solid classic VW. There is absolutly no rust on the pan, this Bug has lived all its years between California and Las Vegas. I went through this car the past couple weeks making sure it was ready for the new owner, here is what I have done. New Battery, New fuel pump, Complete tune up which consists of new plugs and plug wires, rotor, points and condensor. Cleaned the carburator and made the proper adjustments, adjusted the valves and set the timing at this time I noticed the v belt was worn so I replaced that as well. This is a clean and nice running Vw and is now ready for someone to enjoy it for another 39 years. Yes, this is a clean and nice running VW, BUT it is a used car and it is 39 years old, so it is not perfect. I feel good about the car and the work I have done to be sure it is ready for the next lucky owner. I am listing it with NO RESERVE.
