1984 Mini 4cyl. 4 spd.< First things first this is a 1984 Mini, the Ebay site will not accept the VIN which has been verified by VA DOT when they issued the title> it reads; SAXXL2S1021384347. I have a clear VA title.This is a very solid car, very little rust. This car runs but has a drivetrain problem, it jumps and chatters when you try to pull out, it started out only doing it when you ran it fairly hard then progressively got worse, sounds as though a hub or an axle flange is stripped but could be in the final drive, understand that I am not a Mini expert by any means.The motor runs fine, the head was done just before I got the car, the carb. could use a rebuild as it has been sitting for a while,I have had the car 4 yrs. only drove a few times and can never seem to find the time to fix it as I have too many irons in the fire. The paint on the car is an amatuer job but again the body on the car is solid, the undercarriage is nice too with the only rust thru in the trunk at the very back near the drain hole (pictured)at the top of the battery box and a small spot behind the rt. front wheel. The pass. door has a few bubbles coming out on both corners, other than that its very nice for one of these cars. It has disc brakes frnt. and drums on the rear. The front end needs ball joints which I have new. I also have new tie rod ends and axle boots that go with the car. The tires are 12" rollers they hold air thats about it. There is a set of stainless wheel arch mldgs. that go with it also. The interior is pretty decent, it has been redone a some point.With a little work this could be a nice Mini,not all patched up like some I have seen. To this I say any potential buyer is more than welcome to come and check the car out. I recommend it. The ones that came to see it were pleasantly surprised. I have been asked if the car would make a trip out of state. To this I say No it will not I guarantee it. It needs work to be road worthy. Message me, call me, come and look at, it whatever you need to do. If its not as described you do not have to buy it Im not going to make anyone take something they think is misrepreseted.
