1969 Ford Mustang GT Fastback 351 2V Automatic. Up for auction is a rare Indian Fire red 1969 Mustang GT fastback with a 351 2V engine (H-code) and a FMX automatic transmission. The engine is a non numbers matching 351 Windsor 2V (block# C9OE-6015-B date code 9J8), original FMX automatic transmission and correct 9" 3.00:1 rear axle. The engine is all stock with the original 2 barrel carburetor, newer cam and exhaust manifolds. The low mileage engine spins freely but will need a starter, alternator, P/S brackets and exhaust system before it will run again. This car has all its original sheet metal and paint, it also still has the Ford script head lights still in it. The shock towers, inner fender aprons, front & rear frame rails, torque boxes and floor pan are all very solid. The fenders, doors and quarter panels are also very solid, a small line of bubbles on the upper wheel opening of the RH quarter. The hood is solid but has some damage at the front center portion, I have detailed pictures of all the sheet metal. The deck lid has some rust through but is repairable. The roof has some dents along with both doors from storage. The car has its original black standard interior that is complete and is still presentable. The glass is the original with some scratches on the drivers door glass. The car is a real GT with power steering and power disc brakes that is very solid but does need to be restored. The carb tag, rear axle tag and door tag are all still in place. Please do not hesitate to ask questions or for the additional pictures of the car.
