Vehicle Detail
Solid 1971 Alfa Romeo GT Junior. I purchased the car as a track car project, although I believe the previous owner planned to use it as a fast, street car that could also run on the track. A lot of work has been done and additional work is required before it’s back on the street and/or the track. The work required depends on your end goal. The car is being sold as I decided to tackle a similar, 101 Sprint project. MILEAGE IS UNKNOWN The Alfa archives provided the following: "According to our documentation files, the chassis number AR 1251837 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior (105.30), manufactured on the 12th May 1970 and sold on the 15th May 1970 to Alfa Romeo from Rexdale, Ontario. The body colour is pine green (AR 216), with wild boar leather skai interiors." The green you see is original, everything else clearly isn’t. The car is a roller and I would prefer to sell it locally - within a couple of hours of Salem Oregon, if I have to deliver it. If I deliver the car, it will be at cost. If you’re coming to get it, you come from as far away as you like. There are a lot of great parts with this car and if you want to buy it and keep what you need and sell the rest, please bid. The reserve is reasonable and you might make a few bucks for your efforts. NOTE: THIS MEANS I DON'T WANT TO PART OUT THE CAR. A list of some of the larger or more interesting parts is as follows. Correct 1300cc engine – I haven’t had this engine apart, it came with a 1300 Super Stock and sport springs – the sport springs are cut down one coil. Original seats All glass Trim Sidedraft Webers and manifold Radiator K&N Air Filter Drive train – Transmission, driveshaft and differential Momo Wheels Pedals Extra nose piece – needs work, but less than the original The car has an Oregon title. Personal checks are fine and will be considered as on time payment, but the car doesn’t move until the check or checks have cleared. NOTE: I have a 2.0 Twin-Spark and a 1750 as alternative engine choices. These are not included in this auction. I would consider selling one or both to the winning bidder for an agreed upon price and keep the 1300cc or just sell one or both outright.
