This is an all original, 1966 Mustang convertible that has not been messed with. It is all stock. The car has it's original 6 cylinder engine and a 3 or 4 speed manual transmission (we don't know which, but it's manual). The car is a Colorado vehicle, and is a perfect car for restoration. The floor pans are original and intact, but is does have some rust in the engine compartment where the battery sits (panels are sold cheap for these), and on the other side. The original rocker panels are intact, with no visible rust. It will need some of the readily available panels for this, or it could be driven as it is. The rear quarter panels were repaired with new metal, and the front fenders were repaired but should be replaced with some of the bolt-on 80.00 replacements fenders. It has rust in other places, but nothing like most of these - this car is spent in it's time in the midwest. The convertible frame is working and intact but currently has no top. Includes many other details such as the running mustang emblems, hubcaps, mirrors and chrome siding and bumpers. The Mustang was running when the previous owner was going to restore it, and could probably be put back in running order with little work.
