Prior to date of transfer, buyer is required to EMAIL or FAX a photo of buyer's driver's license to be printed by seller and SIGNED by buyer at time of transfer to indicate completion of the sale. A basic standard contract will be required to be signed at time of vehicle transfer. There will be no refunds and no guarantees, the car will be sold AS IS with no exceptions. Buyer may test drive the vehicle at the time of transfer during which time the seller will be present in the vehicle. If upon inspection the buyer elects not to purchase the vehicle the full amount of the down payment will be refunded. DETAILS History: The vehicle is nonsmoking. I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle. I purchased the van from from my parents, who had purchased the van from the original dealer. The original owner had returned the car to the dealer after approximately 25,000 miles. Condition: Good. Drives well, absolutely no problems whatsoever with performance of the engine, transmission, chassis/frame, exhaust, drive train, wheels, brakes, alternator, electrical system, ac/heat, windows, wipers, locks, ignition, seats, navigation system. The stereo/cd player/ipod player/dvd player works, however the LEFT passenger speaker crackles as the woofer has burned out. The car battery was just replaced on 2/18/12 and has a 3 year warranty. Brake pads all have a lifetime warranty. Cosmetic Issues: Scratches/blemishes on plastic bumpers which wrap around each passenger side in the REAR. Minor nicks/scratches on metal body throughout, consistent with a car of this age. The most noticeable "ding" is above the LEFT passenger side wheel well, an approximately 5 mm square area of paint chipped off with rust underneath, and a < 1 cm dent just a few cm away and a linear black scratch or paint mark nearby - there is a photo of this area posted in this advertisement. It probably requires several hours of worth of work at a body shop, the cost of which has been figured into the asking price. The rug is reversibly stained with coffee in several places. A detailing job is figured into the asking price. One of the seats has a small milk stain that may or may not be removable. Overall the interior is clean and in good condition. Mechanical Issues: The car was recently serviced in 10/2011 at which point the transmission was cleaned and the brakes were examined, as well as the oil changed. Since that time it has been driven < 1000 miles. The only mechanical issue involves the hatch back. The system operates via a latch system that may need to be replaced or at least looked at by a mechanic. The hatch is automatic, and I have noticed recently the hatch will sometimes open part of the way and then stop, and return to the closed position. One can open the hatch manually if this occurs, and so it still technically works. I've estimated the cost to for fixing this problem and figured it into the asking price of the vehicle.
