There are several similar trucks on Ebay but none as nice or as original as this truck for the price being offered. Truck left untouched except for a quick washing so you can see exactly what you are getting. No 250.00 quick sell paintwork to trick you into bidding and being disappointed in the end. This is a highly optioned original truck that was originally purchased in town 44 years ago and has not left the county since. 327 V8 with 4 barrel quadrajet that runs like a top mated to a smooth shifting TH400. This truck has power steering and factory Air Conditioning that still blows cold!! 58,205 original miles! Original owner's manual and warranty card included in the dash! Absoblutely no rust through that could be found. Solid floor pans, fenders, cowl, bed... Tailgate is not original and is off of a blue truck. Front bumper has excellent chrome and is not beat up. Rear bumper is off of a later model chevy pick-up. Also has frame mounted reese hitch under rear bumper. Truck had heavy duty rear springs as an option also. Hood closes very nicely and only has the surface rust/patina which is seen in the pics. Doors have a couple of holes drilled in them due to some large mirrors being installed at one time. Rockers are very solid. NO rust in the cab corners. Doors have NO rust through on the underside. No chips or cracks in any of the glass. All trim is in very nice shape and complete. Lights work including interior dome light. Seat upholstery is in great shape except for some wear where the driver sits. Door panels are in great shape. Passenger sunvisor is beginning to separate at the seam but drivers side is excellent!! No rust in rockers, pics show some rust on sill trim but this is isolated to the trim pieces only....NO rust through. 4 wheel drum brakes, truck stops well and tracks straight going down the road. No excessive play or slop in the steering. Only things that need addressing before truck could be a daily driver: Clean/flush gas tank, since truck has been sitting for a couple of years... Truck fires right up, idles, and drives well. Have been running truck off of an auxillary container to keep any contaminants that may be in the tank out of the carb. Truck can be driven by new owner before taking possession to prove this point. Truck has mostly all original gaskets, most of which seep or leak a little oil. Tires are decent and hold air but should be replaced soon. Truck is listed for sale locally but once the reserve is met the auction will not be pulled and will run its course. Alabama does not issue titles for vehicles older than 1975, so this truck will be sold with a bill of sale. If this poses a problem for vehicle registration in your state, please do not bid. I don't know how these "title companies" that are advertised on ebay work, so please don't ask me questions about them.
