Vehicle Detail

This is a 2001 Ford Explorer XLT 2 wheel drive. Please take a close look at all the photos and ask any and all questions you have before bidding on this item as it will need some repairs done to it. I bought this explorer a year ago as a project and have just not been able to find the time to get to it so after a year I have decided to sell. Every one has a different opinion on condition so look at the pictures and judge for yourself but personally I feel it will be a nice SUV if someone has some time to invest in her. When I bought the explorer it did not have a key and the registration was PAST due. I had a key made and brought the registration current and placed it on NON OP. I do have the PINK SLIP in hand. We changed the oil and she fired right up after being parked for over 3 years, shifted into gear and drove around the lot. "I HAVE ONLY LOT driven this truck." The fuel pump went out a month ago and now will need a new one before she will run. This explorer has been off the road sence 2008. "this is a project" that is my ONLY reason for selling her. The good- Engine and transmission operate-only tested at low speeds because of NON OP. Interior for age and milage is really nice. Leather seats are soft and carpet is near perfect. Truck is 100% complete. The bad- Currently not running will need fuel pump replaced. Body damage around passanger lower door, the door does not close all the way will need to be adjusted. Dents on drivers fender and rear hatch. 3 Tires are bald. No battary. IMPORTANT- I am not a mechanic, this was just a fun project that I thought I would be able to fix but have no time available. I have told you everything I know about the explorer, ASSUME there will be other issues you will run into as you go along. The GREAT news is the parts for these trucks are VERY available at your local pick A part yards for fairly cheap. And at No Reserve someone will get a GREAT deal on this truck.
