Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This is my last Automatic Festiva I have to sell...This is also the cleanest Festiva I've ever owned. I had a job where I had a 64 mile round trip daily, so I started buying Festivas whenever I could to have a spare car in case I hit a deer or was involved in an accident while driving to work. I'm a big guy & enjoyed the comfort I had during my daily commute in a Festiva. Over the years, I acquired 9 Festivas simply because they rarely give problems and they are easy to work on if something needs repair...I was getting 45 MPG in my 5 speed, and the automatics get around 40 MPG. The Festiva in this auction is very clean and as far as I know, It has always been owned by someone in S.C., which means it has no surprises with unseen salt rust. The engine runs smooth with no skips and the A/C works GREAT!!! This is the LX Model...this was the high-end model that Ford sold & it includes a tilt steering wheel, rear wiper and cargo light, plus the rare under seat storage bin. This car has been well maintained, but like every other vehicle 22 years old, it does have a few scratches (I touched up the scratches with Ford Cardinal Red), dents & some minor hail damage on the roof...I tried to take the best pics I could of the hail damage under fluorescent light so the buyer can see the damage, but it still does not show well in the pics. The car does have a tear in the driver side seat at the edge of the vinyl from the driver climbing in and out over the years (pic shows tear). The only other problems I know of is the ignition switch has to be turned just a tiny amount back towards the driver once the engine starts so the A/C & electric engine cooling fan will come on (common glitch on Festivas)...The only other known problem is the rear yellow window washer fluid plastic cap had become brittle & broke when I tried to access the jug on the rear passenger side, so I replaced the plastic cap with a rubber grommet from a non/washer model Festiva. If you have any questions or would like to inspect the car in person, please feel free to contact me...I want whoever wins this car to be pleased and I have described everything the best I can. If I have not mentioned something that you are interested in knowing, please let me know & I will do my best to answer any concerns. Also, I now have this Festiva for sale locally (May have several miles more on odometer than listed on auction due to test drives)...I reserve the right to end this auction early if I have a local buyer.
