1954 Austin Healey poor mans AC COBRA real deal V 8 ford power 1954 BN 1 Austin Healey small block ford auto, vintage poor mans cobra done back in the day ( take note of the Goodyear wing foot tires Dayton ? wires with real spin on fake knock offs, Stewart warner gauges, all indicating the period to when the car was modified 60's or 70's ) / nice virtually rust free straight frame old school . DRIVE TRAIN / 6 bolt small block ford starts runs, good oil pressure 40 lbs + no knocking, ticking or smoke / C 4 auto Trans nice red fluid no burnt smell goes right in gear without hesitation / rear end is stock unit / front disk brakes I think there BJ 8 units / BODY is virtually rust free, frame is very nice absolutely no major accident evidence any where to be found, front surround panel below grille needs attention and grille is bent ( I think the grill is within repair but aftermarket units are readily available as well as mirrors, marker lights, rear surround trim, bumpers, etc at a modest price, seats can be easily replaced with ac kit car reproduction ones there cheep around $100 with seat tracks less upholstery of coarse ) all fenders are steel ( there is NO fiberglass on this car ) flairs done the way they did them back in the day, the floor tunnel and firewall modification is not aircraft quality but very acceptable also please note the custom oversize fuel tank not bad at all / PAINT plenty of scratches and chips no cracking on fender flairs ( a good indication that they will hold up a long time as they already have made it 40 years ) great for a survivor appearance will clean up to a 20 footer or better / this Austin Healey has been off the road for at least 10 years or more it will need attention to all the systems fuel, brakes, cooling, electrical etc and IS NOT in driving condition / this is a great car for someone that just wants to tinker and put it back on the road as it was running and driving when parked or go crazy with upgrades / please bear in mind this model (1004 ) is the first of the big Healeys and its the only one with the trademark folding windshield and built as a true two seater / this is a real car not a plastic reproduction and may not appreciate like a concourse restored original however it will go up in value as unmodified Austin Healeys have, not depreciate like plastic reproductions that are flooding the market place / I have taken the time to photo this car with over 40+ more comprehensive pictures not seen on ebay please send me your direct email and I will send them to you they will be the best description of what's here then bid accordingly / sold as is with clear Ca. title in hand in my name / titled as 1954 austin vin# BN1L 220097 / can help with shipping world wide and can deliver to local shipper please add $200 for delivery to ( cal shipping or able cargo check with them for rates ) bid with confidence bid to own / terms $500 pay pal deposit within 24 hours of auction end, payment in full via money wire cash or cashier's check within 7 days of auction end no exceptions Thanks for looking
