This is a very Clean Mercury Sable with a high powered strong performing quiet and smooth Duratec 3.0 Liter overhead valve dual cam V-6 200 horsepower engine with very spirited acceleration and strong passing power. The power steering rack does need to be repaired or replaced. This car has the same basic engine that is used in the Jaguar S-Type, Lincoln LS, Mazda MPV, Mazda 6, Mondeo ST220 and many other Ford vehicles. The engine runs very well. The automatic transmission was rebuilt at approximately 125,000 miles. Visibility is very good. and it is very enjoyable to drive. Tires are good for maybe 2000 miles. The interior upholstery has leather seats and is in excellent condition. No tears, no extraordinary wear - etc. Dash and panel is in excellent condition. The stereo system is awesome. Vibrant. I love to listed to music in this car. Clear and strong and came as the best option available for the vehicle. It holds up to 6 CD's and the CD reserve is trunk mounted. Repair Items: The air conditioner is not working and the only major repair item that must be replaced is the steering rack. It is leaking. The car can be driven, however the steering without fluid in the rack is hard. It is recommended that the rack be replaced. This could cost as high as $500.00. There is a very small slight dent - that could possibly be sucked out with a vacuum pump. No major rust issues. Slight surface rust in just a couple of spots that could be dealt with by hand.- that is all. Please note - the engine picture is identical but not the actual engine- as it is late right now - too cold and dark to go out but thought I would include a picture of the engine type and style. it is is the same engine.
