Vehicle Detail
1929 Chevrolet Truck. 1 1/2 Ton Chassis, 6 Cylinder Motor 194cu. in. - All original motor, transmission, differential. I purchased this truck for my local Shrine club to be used as a parade vehicle. Plans changed with my shriner friends and I ended up with the truck. I am not a collector and don't know alot about these classic trucks but this one seems to be in great condition to restore and would make a really cool hotrod. I bought it at a farm auction and was told the truck was manufactured in 1929. They told me back in those days vehicles were not titled until they were sold. It is titled as a 1931 model. Truck has been setting in my shop for over four years now and I have not touched it so my wife says it is time for it to go. When I got it the truck would start and drive. I charged the battery the other day and tried to start it. The motor turns over fine but I could not get it to start, I think it has a fuel pump problem. Overall, body panel are good, there are a few dents and some areas of surface rust but nothing serious. Tires are like new with no signs of dry rot. I have set a low reserve and am ready to move the truck. Ask any questions, I will try to answer or send more pictures if neccessary.
