Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1963 Triumph Tiger. The engine is in great condition, no broken fins, needs to be gone through, I believe the tranny is locked up, it is rusted. Frame and engine have matching numbers. Front-end is an Ayres and has adjustable dampening. Was set-up as a flat track racer back in the day. It has almost everything you need to build a bike. It comes with a clean Colorado title. Ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them.On Feb-03-12 at 14:00:37 PST, seller added the following information: I wanted to add a few things...one is that this is a TROPHY not a TIGER sorry....I should have done more research it is a TR6ss 1963 only 1685 were made that year. You can see more about this model at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triumph_TR6_TrophyOn Feb-03-12 at 22:58:33 PST, seller added the following information: I have had a bunch of people ask about shipping it. The only way it really works is to ship it forward air from Denver, which is about 4 hours round trip plus loading and unloading. I will do the handling for an extra $100 but you have to cover the shipping costs (small motorcycle container) as well as cost of straps and locks. You can see more about forward air at https://www.forwardair.com/prepaid/MCmainpage.jsp sample price they gave was $600 from Denver to LA. Might also be some other ways of doing it depending on who you know. I shipped a frame in a box and it was $350 with UPS, so with the motor, wheels etc it would be pricey but I hope this helps some of you bid on the bike with confidence.
