Will You Buy My Magic Bus ???? 69 Deluxe Bus No Reserve! If you were looking for a spectacular bay window then look no further! I started with a clean 69 bus: the undercarriage was in very good shape and it had minimal rust for its age. Almost every component on this bus was replaced and or restored. I will explain piece by piece per area of the vehicle. Engine : new 1600 dual port with all new alternator, starter, carb, intakes, fuel pump, distributor, all parts new etc.. Transmission: new freeway flier custom built for highway driving. Long tall gears make this a real pleasure to drive. I get on the highway in 3rd gear up to 55. Suspension : new completely redone suspension front and rear. shocks, ball joints, tie rod arms and joints, stabilizer bar, drag link, etc. New complete cv axles Brakes : Front Disc Brakes from a 1972 Bus. New calipers, rotors, rubber lines front and back. New drum brake kit with hardware. New master cylinder. This bus stops so nicely. Tires: New Bf goodrich silvertown 3.5 inch genuine white wall tires. 30 inches tall. They give the bus a really sweet look. Very expensive tires. The rims are all matching 15" from a 1960 bus. New heavy duty stainless trim rings and chrome hubcaps. Body : New PPG seafoam green (mint green) and bright white 2 tone paint job in and out. Everyone loves this color it is beautiful and unique. Body is straight with clean lines and rust free. New deluxe stainless trim kit antenna and mirrors too Every door and latch component was cleaned and refinished as new. As was window hardware. Bumpers are original and were straightened and taken to bare metal. refinished with new impact strips and bolts. They are perfect. New rubber steps too. All glass is brand new accept the vent windows which are in excellent shape. All seals around the windows are new including vent windows. They were all removed for paint and headliner. New rivets were used so all windows function properly. All body seals are new, every single one including light lenses, latches. etc All lenses and badges are new. Brand new complete wiring harness front to back. New ground wires were added for lights front and back. Fuse panel was cleaned with new fuses and flashers etc New turn signal switch Every light, blinker, lighter, highbeams, gauges etc etc works as new. new door handles too with keys. New ignition harness Interior: New headliner and lights. New visors. Completely reupholstered seats front to back. All new padding and sissle was used including repainting the seat frames and springs. Better than new comfort with these upgraded materials. New rubber mats front and back. Front floors and rear floors were completely stripped and painted bright white. Under seat covers are new factory rubber. New kick panels and door panels all around. Interior is stunning and really compliments the exterior color. The bus looks like a mint chip ice cream cone Undercarriage: Completely stripped and repainted satin black. looks very clean. So as you can see this was a very lengthy and costly restoration. I have receipts for all components if needed and all work performed. This bus drives absolutely wonderful. It idles perfectly. The tranny shifts amazingly smooth. Stops on a dime. The suspension is nice and tight and glides gently over bumps.
