2001 Honda Insight About This VehicleThis 2001 Honda Insight is in great conditionThe car has amazing service records on the title and printed (see photos)This Insight has a lifetime MPG of 55.4 and easily surpasses 65MPG on county roads (not on the OEM tires!)66mpg is my best tank (country road driving) ConditionLight scratches on the trunk below the hatch A small ding on the driver doorLight scratches on the driver side rearThe Blob has encroatched on the charge indicator (see photo) No fluid leaksBelt is in good condition Why Sell Before owning the Insight, my wife and I had a Ford Expedition, three other cars and a RV. To simplify our lifestyle and better the environment, my wife and I decided to sell all our cars and buy our Insight. We've since been finding ourselves in need of more space since we do a lot of outdoor activities. I'd hate to sell it but we cannot justify owning two cars and we need a bit more space. Maintenance HistoryThis vehicle was serviced at the same dealership its whole life, I have records for all the maintenanceEvery major interval recommended maintenance has been preformed and signed off by the dealership Battery was replaced 6 months agoThe Hybrid pack has not been replaced but shows no sign of weakening. Insight owners take a lot of pride in these cars that it has almost created a cult like following. This car is an important symbol of automobile engineering and is a shame that they sacrificed mpg in the new model (as it tends to happen with any fuel efficient vehicle). I value this car greatly and have taken the time to understand it. If this will be your first Insight, I will be happy to spend some time with you showing all the things I've learned about driving habits that really help improve this cars performance.
