Thank you for looking at this auction You are looking and maybe bidding on a 1975 ( 1976 model) CB 360 Honda twin with orig. 9900 miles . I am selling this bike for a friend of mine. Her late husband was a mototorcyle enthusiast and collected this bike besides others that I sold previously on ebay .. Steve like all of us had only that much time in his life and when you get older the work seems to go slower as the the time seems to accellerate . So he never had the time to work much on this 70 s left over piece of history; the CB 360 had a 6 speed transmission compared to the models that it suceeded as well as a front disc brake. And just that with the nice fork set up would make this bike a perfect candidate to become a classic cafe racer. ( I show one picture with my personal 450 cafe in the background, and the 4 th picture shows a harley sprint/aermacchi that I build 2 years ago; also made seat tank fender exhaust etc on those bikes) I started building cafe racers in 1974..... and this bike is easy to do. This little beauty sat in silence for a couple of decades in dry storage until I first saw it and put some life in it again. I spent a few month to get this baby to operate and look the way it came in 1975. The carbs were replaced by a clean set that I went through. The fork was taken apart all the way ,the seals and dustcovers were replaced as well as polishing the lowers. Points, plugs, fuel lines, etc were replaced with mostly OEM new parts , The mufflers were replaced with brand new better then factory pipes ( no pressed cheap seam...). Battery was replaced with a new one; front caliper was rebuild and the master was exchanged for a good one. : new > handle bar grips, mirrors, new front brake pads, fact points, engine seals, blinker relais, etc.etc I repainted the side covers with met. base/clearcoat ( not candy .. and it was an eye match by the paintstore.....) I also replaced the tachometer, the front fender, and some ss bolts. The chrome on the rims is good ,I touched the spokes up that had some surface corrosion. The tank has a slight indent at the rear where it joins the seat ( see pictures) as well as 2 minor chips. The rear tire has plenty of thread left but it is old, front tire should be renewed. Minor chrome pitting at the front fender rear section. The headlight bezel is slightly dented and the head light bucket has a small tiny crack at the top ( see picture) You can see/hear the bike running at youtube ( sailnau > honda cb 360 coldstart) or click on this direct link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGSGUo3_Ce0 This bike is sweet fully functional machine about 95% original, it starts on the first cick or push with the e- starter and purrs like a kitten, it does not smoke ( thank God I m triying to quit...) and the transmission, clutch, brakes elec. system etc. works fine.( the emergency switch is backward but works) Also has original tool kit; nice ladies or beginners bike; I wish I had a bike like this when I was 16... Highest winning bidder must arrange shipping/pick up; I will do my best to assist with cost saving/ loading etc. I can be reached at 407 781 6592 ( thor) regarding any questions you might have or if You would like to see and hear the bike in person.
