1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. Prairie gold/palamino. Very rare color. Built in California vin# 5R09C178596. Odometer shows 46000 mile, but this is most likely not original. Engine compartment very clean. Floors are solid. I'm no car expert, but I will tell what I know about the car. It is a C code 289 2-barrel. it is currently has a 4-barrel. I believe it's a Ford intake manifold automatic. I've owned it for approx. 5 years. I had hoped to work on it with my son, but never could find the time being that I'm self-employeed. I have NOT drove it on the road. I started it approximately 1 1/2 years ago and it has an after market distributer dual points. I had a friend rebuild the carburator and ever since then it's not getting gas therefore will not start. I'm not sure if it has the original engine. No numbers. The tag on the door does match numbers under hood, but I've been told that this doesn't mean anything. When I did have it running the transmission seemed to shift fine. Very good restoration project. Door jams seem to be solid. Not original paint, but original color. Body has some bubbling at bottom of passenger door. Body work or bubbling around wheel well on drivers side. Crease on passenger side quarter panal. Have ALL interior parts, but need to be replaced. Interior is around $675.00 parts only. You are encouraged if interested to take a look for yourself.
