2002 Chevrolet 2500 HD This LS, 4x4, Long Bed truck is equipped with a Duramax 6.6 LB7 and Allison transmission. Power everything and cloth seats. It has an 8" lift that I reduced to around 6" with spring/air rear suspension. I removed all but one leaf spring and over load spring so the truck rides on the air bags. (I will also include the springs that I removed) It has 35" toyo tires and 20" weld wheels. The front shocks are bilstein reservoir and the shock hoops have been chromed. It also has AMP power steps that make it easy to get in and out of. It has an onboard compressor under the hood with a hose attached for filling tires if needed. The switch and guage are mounted in the center council. It's a clean truck that I have taken care of, maintained, and respected. I never raced it around or drove it hard. I rarely towed with it and when I did it was around town due to my boat being stored close to the lake. It has rails installed for a fith wheel. I've only towed a fifth wheel with it once for about 300 miles and it tows awesome. I believe I am the second owner and bought it from a dealership in 2003. It's a really clean truck inside and out. It runs great and has alot of power. I believe in Karma so I want to be honest with the condition regarding the few items that I know as non functioning or condition wise are: The horn does not work. It never has and I haven't checked to see if it is hooked up or not. the #5 setting on the air blower does not work. I heard it is a small relay fix, but it never bothered me. The power mirror switch is not working so I adjust them by hand no problem. The interior is in great shape other than a small tear on the left side of the drivers seat from getting in and out. There is a small tear from a ring on the inside of the drivers door handle. The exterior is super clean, but has a two door dings on driver and two on passenger side. Other than that there are small rock chips and normal wear should be expected. The bed has alot of scratches inside as the picture shows. The injectors were changed under warranty at 100k miles. After sitting at idle for an extended time, the truck smokes a little, but stops once you get on your way and the check engine light is on. I'm assuming its a glow plug because it has happened in the past. There is no diesel or coolant in the oil. It has a small oil leak from the pan. It recently had the steering box, tie rods, idler, and pitman arms replaced. I'm pretty anal how my cars go down the road so it's tight after the front end work. The water pump and egr cooler was replaced about 20k miles ago along with rear seals, rear brakes/rotors, front right axle, and the carrier bearing. It was in a small accident 5 years ago while parked. The bumper, wheel, tire, and a few suspension pieces were replaced. There was no body damage. It does not have the remotes to unlock. I understand that the truck is capable of unlocking with remotes, you just have to get them at the dealership. I never had a problem using the key so I didn't purchase them. I love the truck, but need something different at this time so it's up for grabs. I reserve the right to end the aution early if I sell it locally. The drivers side is pealing where it goes into the moulding and they are both a little hazy.On Jan-23-12 at 15:17:52 PST, seller added the following information: Truck now has 170,730 miles on it since the auction started and it's running great! I had the check engine light checked today and two codes came up. 1. code PO1093 which is low under power enrichment. I was told it is a fuel pressure regulator and an inexpensive fix. 2. code PO380A which is a bad glow plug on the "A" side of the engine and is an inexpensive fix. I do not have time to fix these two items so you should consider the cost for repairing yourself when bidding.
