1987 BMW 325 The car is in good condition, and runs very well. I am the third owner of the car, it was purchased new in 1988, a close family member was the second owner, and I purchased it in the spring of 2009. There has been work done on the car in the three years we have had it, which I will detail below. The body on the car is in great shape, there are two very minor spots of surface rust, but that is about it. The car has never been wrecked, and has a clean title. Until my ownership, all of the car service was done at a BMW certified shop. The interior is in good shape as well. The carpet shows it's age, but the dash and console are in really good condition, with no cracks or faded spots. The shift boot and e-brake sleeve do not have holes or other damage. All five seat-belts work properly. The power windows and other interior electric work. This car has been extremely well maintained and cared by for by everyone who has owned it. This beemer even has the original paint. The car runs well and is really fun to drive. It has a few immediate needs, which are: Muffler (the current muffler has a hole in it, the car runs a little loud, but not super loud)Windshield Weather Stripping (the windshield leaks a very small amount on the driver side. It's enough to make the floor damp, but that's about it, the windshield itself is fine)Turn signals (could be bulbs, fuses, wiring, or all three)Heater does not work (blowers are bad) Odometer is not working (we have put approximately 500 miles on the car since, we have tried to keep an accurate count)The car needs two rear tires and an alignment before any long-distance driving There are some minor problems as well, which are:Sunroof crank is broken (the crank is in the glove box, it just needs the hardware, vice grips are currently on that will fully operate the sunroof)Driver side seat does not push forward, allowing access to the backseat (the seat still reclines, rises and lowers for driver comfort)The key broke off in the driver side lock, the passenger side is still accessible, we have extra keys for the ignition and locksHere is a list of the things we have done on the car:New Water Pump (Winter 2011)New engine hoses (Winter 2011, and throughout ownership)New stainless steel brake lines (Winter 2010)New Battery (Spring 2010)New Front Tires (Winter 2010)(I may be adding to this list as I remember items)Overall it is a good, reliable vehicle that needs an owner that will take care of it. These cars are rare in this condition, with proper upkeep this car will bring its owner a lot of joy.
