Vehicle Detail

After 10 years of building and owning this car I have finally decided to sell it. It has been done for about 2 years and has won its class at every show I have taken it to. This was a rotisserie build with attention to every last detail that took me 8 years to complete. Just about every nut and bolt was replaced with stainless steel or new bolts where stainless was not appropriate. All of the suspension and brakes were powder coated. All fuel lines and brake lines are also stainless steel. All rubber seals and weather-stripping were replaced. Hardly any of the original parts were used and if they were, they were completely restored. This car has been fully seam sealed and rust-proofed, and any of the original design that promotes rust was done differently. This car is like buying a better than new car with only 1300 miles on it. It is fully sound deadened as well. It has the proper gear ratios (unlike 99% of any of the other VTEC Minis out there), You can cruise this car down the highway at 80 MPH and it turns the same RPM as an Integra. It gets great gas mileage. It takes Honda wheels, so if you ever want to change up the wheels you can use ones for an Integra or Civic. It also has Acura Integra rear disc brakes. The car has been stored in a climate controlled garage with an indoor cover since it has been done. None of the original wiring was used. This has a full painless wiring harness with a proper modern fuse block. The sky is the limit if you ever want to add more power since it comes with full Accel DFI and Wideband O2 with datalogging etc. This car was Dyno tuned by the Accel DFI trainer. I have over 2000 pictures depicting the entire build process and some videos that will be included on DVD. I also have a 4" thick file folder of receipts for every part used. All of the parts will also be in a spreadsheet so if you ever need to replace anything, you know exactly what to buy and where to get it. All instruction manuals for all parts will also be included. This car has been appraised at $74,900 and is currently insured for that value through American Family Insurance (cheep to insure at $30 month). The cost to build is estimated at $149,266 (if you had to pay a shop) to re-create this car. I know in this economy I am probably not going to get the appraised value, but I want you to know the level of car you're looking at. The reserve is set at a very reasonable amount and I put the buy it now much lower than the appraised value. I feel this is the best built VTEC Mini you will ever find and it was not built by some shop for a customer. I built it with my own hands taking no shortcuts and consuming 8 years of my free time.I will also include the car cover. Please feel free to e-mail me at jevs656@gmail.com or call me at 314-660-0303 with any questions. You may also come see the car in person and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if I sell it locally.I have attached a link to the spreadsheet showing all parts used at the bottom (in pdf form in case you don't have Excel). I also included the first page of the appraisal. You can see many more pictures here:http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3864482/1970-austin-miniI can also e-mail any specific pictures you want and even during the build process (I do only have slow mobile broadband though). Here is a summary of the modifications this car has undergone.
