1996 Impala SS - Black with gray leather interior. Car is unmodified except for Flowmaster exhaust system. Common problem on this model is the on again / off again odometer. I assure you that the mileage is under 88,000. (NOT 188,000... 88,000 original miles). Now the bad news and the reason for the insanely low price. The car runs and drives perfectly...at times. It will start and run for as long as it feels like it, and then dies. It may restart instantly or it may not start again until the next day or so. I have not driven the vehicle further than my own neighborhood since 2008. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel pump wiring harness, fuel filter, distributor, plugs, wires, ignition control module, fuel pressure regulator, and had the car checked by my local Chevy dealer (fuel pressure regulator) as well as other shops in Amarillo,TX (distributor) and Pampa, TX (fuel pump). The car has minor body damage from storage and while being shipped. It has never been in a noteable accident. The rear wing is missing paint (presumably from being egged) and the lower passenger rocker is scratched from being trailered. The windshield was cracked during storage. For a little good news; the interior is in very good condition. The only notable wear being in the left footrest area on the drivers side carpet. The dash has always been covered and the seats are in very good condition. The last time I lapped the neighborhood, the left rear brake was squealing. The car is NOT SUPERCHARGED! The ebay system automatically listed the engine this way and will not allow me to change it. RESERVE IS $3000.00.
