This is a 2000 limited Chevy Tahoe. I am not selling this vehicle as a collectors car (even though these are hard to find) or a mint condition low mileage show vehicle. It is a well used daily driver that has been cared for but does have the normal wear and tear for a 12 year old vehicle with 223,400 miles. The limited tahoes were very nice, top of the line SUVs in 2000. They have lots of luxury features and they look really good with their all black exterior, factory ground effects and 16" factory 5 spoke wheels. Two tone leather, rear ac and heated seats/mirrors round out the interior. I bought this vehicle in 2004 and it has been driven daily up until a month ago. I considered rebuilding/replacing the motor and having a repaint but I really needed a truck for my new job so the tahoe needs to go. Here are the good points of the vehicle........ 5.7L (350) Vortec engine still runs great. Not quit as powerful as it once was but very reliable. Transmission was rebuilt at 190K (have invoice) and is working flawlessly. Engine has never required any type of major repair of any kind. Only routine maintenance, a water pump and a power steering pump have been performed. Engine uses about a 1/2 quart of oil between changes. AC system was completely rebuilt this past summer which includes a reman. compressor, condensor, evaporator and accumulator. All lines were flushed and rear ac was serviced as well. The heater core was also changed while the dash was out to replace the evaporator. I have never towed anything with this vehicle and the plastic cover on the bumper has never been "punched out" for a ball. Paint and interior are over-all in good condition with no major defects or issues. Paint does have the normal fine scratches and chips with some very small (dime size) dings here and there but nothing major. There are some "swirl" marks from a poor wax job but the light has to hit it right for you to see them. Tires are about 50%. Here are the problems (nothing major)............. Steering has some play and brakes are a little soft. Suspension feels a little flat these days. Drivers side heated seat does not work. Drivers side rear window doesn't go up and down. Drivers seat arm rest leather is cracking but that is the only bad spot in the leather. The carpet is not torn and doesn't have any holes but it is getting dingy and has some stains from the kids but nothing horrible. Drivers side vanity mirror lights don't work. Fuel pump was replaced about three years ago and has been noisy since day one but works fine. I think that is pretty much it. I have been honest in my description but please feel free to ask any questions as I may have over looked something that you may think of. Please remember......
