1985 Mercedes 190E 2.3, 4 cylinder, RARE 5 spd. Rare light metallic green exterior and tan/beige interior. Starts and drives well. Started on a cold 13 F morning no problem. Clutch and transmission seem strong with no abnormal sounds or feelings. It's been very reliable for me and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. I have taken it on several 2-4 hour trips. 160K on the odometer but it has stopped so true mileage unknown. Newer tires, new brakes. Runs and drives good, Front windows work great, but rear windows do not currently work. I have not tried the sunroof. Power Locks work good. Interior is nice with only a few problems. See pics at link below. Power seats are like new and work good. Dash has a few cracks, and the tach intermittently works. A/C needs a recharge. The blower motor works good but squeaks. Front left strut I think is squeaking when below freezing, but quiet on warmer days. Go figure. When turning steering wheel to far reaches, some ball joints moan alittle. I'm not a mechanic, but am trying to give an honest description. Dent on left rear fender, behind the rear door. 2 small rust holes on rocker panel that can only be seen by crawling under car.
