Vehicle Detail

1969 Camaro RS SS. A nut and bolt restoration was completed 10 years ago and since that time the car has been driven 7300 miles. This car can be driven anywhere as it handles and drives excellent. Here are the details. Body: PPG slick black concept paint.Panels that were replaced include both 1/4's,both doors, both fenders, decklid, upper and lower valance, a 4" fiberglass cowl hood that fits like steel.New grille, tail lights, Vinyl top and moldings. The body seams were smoothed and the outside door handles were deleted. The doors are opened by electronic solenoids. Paint still looks great, but there is a spot at bottom of the rear glass molding that appears to be moisture under the paint from the vinyl top. It's smaller than a dime and you can see it in the pics. The finish is still very respectable. Interior: Recaro seats with Simpson 5 way harnesses, and a nice stock rear seat. Nice door panels, carpet, and headliner. Dakota digital complete gauge package with a factory console and B&M Megashifter.Grant billet wheel and tilt column.Dash is excellent. AM/FM stereo with hidden CD disc changer. Power windows operate great. Rear End/ Suspension/ Brakes: Tex racing 9" ford bolt in rear end with 3.10 gear and Tru Trac posi. Front and rear sway bars. 2" drop leafs with a 1" block for a total 3" rear drop. QA1 rear shocks. 2" front drop spindles and QA1 coil over conversion on the front. Power Master power disc front brakes and drum rears.Master power electric vacuum system. The car will stand on it's nose! Drivetrain: ZZ502 crate engine with a Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake and a 850 Holley DP. Hydraulic roller cam, aluminum heads, 9.6 compression, 4 bolt block, Milidon oil pan.March belt, bracket system. 502 Hp and 550 Tq. Bought new from Scoggin Dickey. Trans is a 400 turbo with no shift kit, and a TCI Converter, 1800 stall. Exhaust/Heating, and Cooling: Hedman headers into 2 1/2" exhaust with Hooker Aero Chamber mufflers, and 3" tail pipes. Aluminum radiator with Spahl fans and Vintage air conditioning and heating. Trunk: Optima battery, and an enclosure that houses the electric Holley fuel pump and the trans cooler. Wheels/Tires: Like new Crager S/S 15" Wheels and nice BF Goodrich TA's. I feel that this car is ready for some 17"s to put it into the latest Pro Touring movement. To Sum it up, this car is a ready to go power tour, pro touring, cruiser, or show car. I have over 50k in receipts that come with the car. Any questions feel free to ask. Will only sale to the lower 48 states. Thanks, Tim.On Jan-12-12 at 14:30:49 PST, seller added the following information: Guys, I have had several questions about the paint and body. On a 0-10 scale, the body is a 9. I would rate the paint a 7, maybe a 8, but I am picky. Also, I had forgot to mention that the car does have power steering, and what I would call a quick ratio steering box. Check my feedback, I will be honest with you!
