This auction is for a 1967 Dodge Sportsman A-108 van project. It has the original 318 motor (first year it was offered). When I purchased this it was exactly how it is now. I purchased this 3 years ago. It was kept in the garage the whole time. I never seemed to find enough time to get around to fixing it up. The previous owner removed the gas tank for cleaning and he said he could fire it up and drive it around by running a tube to a portable gas tank. I never attempted to start it, so I don't know for sure. That's why I'm selling this as a non-running project. There is a hole in the brake line, so it currently has no brakes, and the shifter cable is also broken. But the van seems pretty complete part-wise, with the exception of wiper arms, horn button and rear seat. The van was originally blue and cream, it appears. I was told it was painted the tan/cream to match a fleet of church vans at the time. The doors open and close nice - strong hinges. The windshield has cracks, but is flat glass - cheap and easy to replace. There are some rust spots here and there, but nothing too terrible. We only wish to sell to buyers in Ohio or near Ohio. Buyers are required to handle all pickup/shipping arrangements and costs. We don't have time for special instructions or preparing vehicle for shipping. Buyer must be able to handle that completely.
