Vehicle Detail
This is a nearly SHOWROOM NEW 1985 Cadillac Barritz that has only 26,770 documented original miles on her. This is a 100% rust free car. She has been garage kept all of her life. She is currently stored in a humidity controlled museum setting. The temperature is at a constant 70 degrees. This vehicle is in exceptionally good condition for her age. This car drives and operates as new. As you can see in the vehicle history report on this auction the history on this car is squeeky clean. No accidents, no trouble, three total owners, Correct Mileage. This car is a great long term investment that will be fun along the way. I am selling this car for an older friend who has a collection of cars but knows nothing about computers. He is not a dealer. There are no fees that will be added to the final auction bid. This car is located on the west side of Indianapolis, Indiana in an previous new car dealer’s showroom turned museum. The last picture shows some cars in the museum. The XR7 in the picture will be coming up for auction shortly. We would allow inspection to qualified buyers with a rating of 10 or more during the auction. We do not have time for tire kickers. We do have title in hand. I ALWAYS call what is wrong with my items that I sell on eBay. I call it like it is and show pictures of any issues. There are no secrets with my listings. That is why my rating is 100%. I am unaware of anything else that is wrong with the car. This car is MUCH cleaner than average for a 1985 year automobile. The paint shines and looks to be completely original. All the panels have original VIN stickers on them and it does not appear that the car was ever in an accident. The weather strip and the exterior rubber is in good shape. The rear bumper filler panel has a small crack. (see pictures) The car drives with no shakes, rattles or unusual wind noise. All lights and wiring operate properly. The tires are in good shape and have 80% life remaining. The windshield seems original and had no rock stars or cracks. The spare tire and jack are intact. The car is serviced and ready to go. The car has the Delco CB option. You can see the handset in the interior pictures. Everything under hood looks correct. The belts, hoses, filters etc. look to be in good shape. The under carriage of the car is extremely clean. (pictures) Finally, this is a no reserve auction. The high bidder at auction end will be the new owner. Don’t email me and ask what I will take for the Car. Bid on it. This is an auction. Please have permission from your wife, husband, father, mother, sister, brother, partner, banker, bookie or anyone else that could halt the purchase BEFORE you bid. If you are the high bidder you have a contractual obligation to complete the purchase for the auction price. Being the high bidder does not give you the right to look at the car and see if you want to buy it. IF YOU ARE THE HIGH BIDDER YOU ARE THE NEXT OWNER. Of course if I have grossly misrepresented this car I would not expect you to buy it. Money must clear my bank and be in my account for me to release the car and the free and clear title. On Jan-07-12 at 13:01:39 PST, seller added the following information: We have 2 other collector cars on ebay listed with no reserve. Item number 230727787426 and 230727858398. Check them out and bid with confidence. On Jan-08-12 at 12:13:05 PST, seller added the following information: For anyone that doubts the quality of this car. It was purchased in May of 2010 from the Live Mecum Auction in Indianapolis, IN. In front of thousands of bidders that looked at the car the hammer price was $14,000. Add the standard Mecum 8% buyers premium and the actual purchase price was $15,120. The buyer paid tax on the car and registered it also. He has $16,500 in this beauty. Here is a link to the auction page. http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_detail.cfm?LOT_ID=SC0510-91393 Bid with confidence. This car is a winner.
