1972 Chevrolet Chevelle/Malibu 2 door. Car has been garage kept the last 8 years. Recently has passed a PA State Inspection and is good till 08/12. Motor: Completely rebuilt SBC 327 with nice lumpy roller cam and rockers, headers, edelbrock intake, HEI distributor, Carburator ( from Avanti), new radiator, and dual exhaust with flowmasters mufflers that come out behind the rear tires. Transmission: Turbo 350 with shift kit and 2200 stall converter, Hurst Promatic 2 shifter. Rear End: GM 10 bolt non posi, not sure of gearing Paint/Body: Paint is a 1980's GM Teal. All body work was done buy the previous owner. I am a total novice at body work! The car will need at least front fenders. This car has the plastic wheel wells on the front and both have cracks. There are little rust marks starting to show up in the rear quaters. There is a 1 inch hole on the passenger side about 12 inches in front of the wheel well. Rear window has been sealed, trunk has been re-done and is solid. Interior: Front dash pad and rear deck pad with speakers have been replaced, both bench seats have been reupholstered, floor carpet looks new, headliner is in good shape, all door panels have been replaced, radio has been replaced. Wheels: Rally rims with new 15" tires by Cooper. I have the chrome rings still in the shrink wrapping. Brakes: Front has been converted to disc brakes and rear are still drums. Springs on the rear have been replaced during last years inspection. Suspension: New coils are new, shocks have been replaced (5 yrs old), all ball joints front end are new from when the brakes were converted, rear anti-sway bar and power steering. Car handles niceand drives straight. Electrical: Front wiring harness and engine harness have been replaced. New battery I brought this car before I had any kids. Then one day I found out I was having twins. Since then I have driven this car less and less. The last inspection the garage informed me that I had only put 600 miles on it since the last yearly inspection. Mechanically this car is sound and is an excellent runner as is. I know the body will need some work, but I don't know how much. I'm losing the garage were the car is kept so it's time I sell it.
