You are looking at a beautifully restored 1929 Chevy 1 1/2 ton Delivery Stake Bed Truck. I have owned and worked on this truck for 22 years. This is the first time it has been restored. I have included a couple pictures of what it looked like before. This truck has been totally disassembled, sandblasted and painted. All the interior wood is mostly original. Any bad wood was replaced and new interior upholstrey and top is from Hampton Coach. It has been 2 years since I completed this restoration. I have an extra motor, transmission and rear end from a 1931 Chevy. Most of it fits onto the 1929. The engine has never been rebuilt. I did a valve job on the head and tried to keep to original as possible. The motor does not smoke, but it does make a little noise due to a thrust bearing on one of the rods has a broken piece on it. It runs perfect and holds good oil pressure. I built the bed from all red oak. Midnight Blue with Black Fenders. The only thing not complete is that the door handles don't match. I have not been able to locate a matching set. It's been taken to several truck shows and has had great reviews. I hate to sell it, but I need to pay bills. Please feel free to ask any questions.
