Vehicle Detail

1971 Cuda, late 71 production, build date 7-09-71. Rare houndstooth black/white interior, factory executive ordered car with documentation, equipped with Light Group, Elastomeric bumpers front and rear, Rallye Cluster, Power Disc Brakes, 70Amp Battery, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Rear Window Defogger, Power Windows, Dual racing mirrors, Rallye wheels, 43863 actual miles, car drives like a dream, quiet, good power from the 383 4 bbl. Govier documentation on the car is provided. Has a complete new exhaust system from Accurate, less than 500 miles since installed. Paint job is in fair to good condition, probably an early nineties first repaint, has a few nicks here and there that have been touched up. We have put about three thousand miles on it since we've had the car, which has been for the past five years. Have taken several local trips and several times to British Columbia. At the largest Mopar show in BC in 2009 the car won best stock car and best US entry, due to it's originality and condition. The billboards and the rear spoiler were added to the car later in it's life, but before we got the car. The billboard on the driver's door has a couple of nicks in it that were there when we bought it, I have the replacement kit but just haven't had time to install the new decals. We were going to take to one of the AZ auctions in January, but can't get away from work to take it there, so here's a chance to buy it here, for less money for sure. Reasonable reserve, super nice car, we are getting ready to sell our home this spring and will lose our detached garage.... so got to make the adjustment now and let the car go.On Dec-31-11 at 19:42:21 PST, seller added the following information: Should also note that the car has the original numbers matching engine and transmission. Also, the original window sticker, but no broadcast sheet. It is, as you can see in the one picture, a two fender tag car as it is relatively heavily optioned. On Jan-02-12 at 15:41:44 PST, seller added the following information: In answer to a couple of inquires, the a/c system works fine, but it does need recharge. Either with the old style freon, or flush the system and convert to the new stuff. I have never done it because I've never driven the car when we needed the a/c to work. Everything is there and working, it just doesn't blow cold air at this time. Another minor point, not that it matters much, but just for a bit of history, this 71 Cuda was a magazine cover car in the July 1992 edition of "Performance for the Chrysler Car Enthusiast" an earlier Mopar magz of yore.
