This car is one of the more rare 1970 production cars. It has its original engine, trans and rear axle. The engine is the true original F 440, cast# 2536430 1970 Hi Performance, 4 bbl, fully rebuilt and very strong nice running engine as you can see and hear in the Video. 727 trans, 8 ¾ with a 3:23, which was taken apart, cleaned, checked, seals and bearings replaced. The original factory air unit was taken out and replaced with a Classic auto Air, fly by wire system. Very nice, quick cooling, non power robbing system. Car has New Brake booster and master cylinder, all new brakes etc… Hooker headers, New Pypes Exhaust 2 ½” Correct style tips.The fender tag is the original to the car! This R/T was ordered right when it came to the options, which I will list below! This car has been brought back to the world of automotive awesome, high performance glory. This car retains its original floors, doors, tinted glass with the exception of a new front windshield, mag 500 rally wheels with original beauty rings, original dash with all fully functional gauges, no aftermarket under the dash specials. Dash is original and features correct rally cluster gauges, with woodgrain inlay still in great condition! As I went through this car it brought many surprises, one of which I have seen few of and that’s completeness and originality! 1970 saw the lowest production chargers of all, which makes finding a car which retains all its parts a true gem. This car has both its original Broadcast sheets, one in hand, the other still pictured under the rear seat. This car is #389 of 609. The registry letter states the chances of finding another similar vin# with this combination of options is 25%. The EXTERIOR of the car looks very nice. The original color red, stunning in the sun! Will certainly grab some eyes!!! All the gaps are very nice and body lines straight. All the stainless trim is original to the car. The cars roof is tight and beautiful, new factory correct grain top from year one. The underside of this car was in nice shape, to preserve the original metal, A factory type sound deadener and undercoat was re-applied, helping keep the sound and heat of the exhaust on the outside. THE INTERIOR of this car was very original. The upper door pads and emblems are original, the dash, the entire rear seat-never re-covered, rear door panels molding, door handles window cranks all original. The front seats have been recovered, new carpet, of which I snapped a few pics of the painted original solid floors, new package tray, headliner. Brand new look, brand new smell! This Car has all the right looks, the right sound, and the right performance. Definitely a good investment.
