PERSONAL DESCRIPTION Searching for this generation of T-Bird on any site will usually result in only a handful of cars - most of them in sad condition. Then there are those low mileage cars that look great only to find out that it’s the 3.8 engine. Not only is this car low mileage and has the 5.0 liter V8, it is the Sport model which means it comes with the quadra shock rear suspension with a 4-on-the-floor transmission selector. And to top it all off, it’s in beautiful black. Please know that this car has NEVER been in an accident and has NEVER been repainted. The paint is the original single stage paint that has been protected by a garage and a car cover that comes with the car. I am the second non smoking owner of this thunderbird. The first owner purchased the car when he was 40 and sold the car to me when he was 60. I had to promise I would not butcher the car. He wanted to concentrate on restoring his Ford tractors. I purchased the car 5 years ago when I was 37. My point - no kid ever owned this car. This car is a true survivor. It is completely original except for wear items such as tires and shocks. It comes with the original keys, the original window sticker and the original owner’s manual with the security code to be used on the outside numeric pad. Some aspects that I have enjoyed about this car: What I have enjoyed most was the 22 gallon fuel tank. This combined with 27 MPG on the highway has given this car great range between fill-ups. The stereo system – It has the optional graphic equalizer which was also an amplifier. This makes the 6 speakers rock. I just fed my IPOD into the cassette player. The liquid black paint against the shinned aluminum rims – always great for cruising. Triple gauge cluster – digital display – beautiful – see pictures Never saw another one on the road in the 25K I put on the car and it always generates excitement.
