1956 bel air 4 door minmal rust only bad rust is in spare tire well runs and shifts good only about 1000 miles on it in 20 years was repainted in the 80s i assume the body is dang near solid no rust on floor pannels or body that i found new tires great car for shows right off the bat but simple resto as well i just dont have time for it plz ask questions if any On Dec-30-11 at 14:16:35 PST, seller added the following information: update to answer most comon questions the only rust that is not surface is in spare tire well , on two of the bumper caps can be fixed the reserve is low on this beauty all glass is solid not cracked has some aged fog around edges all gauges and options work what the car needs to be great is surface rust on bumpers fixed , tail pipe tip , new break shoes ? front sticks every once n a whyle , all crome trim is nice some pitting on a few parts , rims are in need of new paint the car has ben to shows in current shape and gets alot of attention the title is free n clear fl title all lights work heat work fresh oil change i have the new points n plugs to put in try to do before end of sale new coil new tires felt around windows is good no play in doors closem with on finger its a great car for a great price ive foung only a few places were body work was done when it was painted many years ago some new frontend parts replaced alot of bolts (just tinkern)
