HERE IS A BEAUTIFUL WELL KEPT 78 VOLARE, WITH ONLY 41,00 ACTUAL MILES. this car looks like new, has a great looking vinyl top, no rips, no tears, no bubbling, interior looks like new, and it should with only 41, 000 miles, here is your chance to get an older mopar with a super six, it will get great gas mileage, like 25 miles to the gallon on the highway, has a/c/, may need a charge.,am-fm plays like new, rear speaker controls work great. car was bought in 1978 by the laurens high school district 55 admin.(which is 45 miles from me), purchased for 5200.00 from george motor company, a local dealer that was in business for nearly 50 yrs), from what i gather thru all the tons of paperwork and reciepts and maintenace records, car was well maintained, car was sold to an older gentlemen who sold it to the fella(now deceased) that i got it from. a couple of facts, car had 22,000 miles on in 79 or 80,,last known mileage that was written down, the car had about 40,000 miles on it in 92, and has been garaged by the now deceased owner. please check out the pics, see the shine on the lights chrome, and radio and dash. this is what i have seen wrong with it head liner needs replaced...costs about 125.00 the plastic dash has a few cracks due to the sun. it appears to be original paint, of course i have no way of knowing, from what i can see the car is nearly mint, i mean for a nearly 34 yr old car. the interior seats will need a good cleaning had sheets over them when i bought them, had to get new keys, the owners wife didnt know where he had placed them, so i have 2 sets of chrysler logo keys. the car has sat from around 92 to the present so the carb may need a good cleaning, it cranks and runs good, it takes awhile to warm up, heater works great, everything i have seen works great, comes with original jack, and i think, the spare tire is dated 77 or 78. it has a 77 grill, dont know if in the last 34 yrs it didnt hit something, the grilles are plastic, would take much. i fyou like the older "f" bodies then this will be a very good christmas present, cause i guarentee, unless you have a time machine, and go back to 78, you wont find a nicer one. the trunk still has the original carpet, jacks, here is some of the paper work i have for this classic, i have the original window sticker, build sheet, owners manual(with schedule of maintenance completed and dates and mileage) i will need a 500.00 deposit thru paypal, car does not leave until all funds have been brought. no guarentee on this car due to its age, i have driven it in the back yard, it does have a clear title, just no tag or insurance... i also have a best offer set up on ebay, it is automatically set up for a certain offers, thanks and have a great day!
