We bought this last year from a retired military man who lives in the area. He kept it in his garage and replaced parts here and there over the years. I have the fancy book that comes new with the car, paperwork and many repair reciepts.On the positive side the car is straight....no known dings/dents anywhere......maybe one or two too tiny to notice at my age. The paint is beautiful and fresh looking and the front headlight retractable motors have been replaced. I do not see any rust anywhere. I have kept a cover on the car since purchasing and everything works except the sunroof....the motor works but the slide stopped in open position one sunny day last summer. A local repair guy got it closed to keep the rain out.....so this would need attention. The tires look new but are dry rotted.....something I missed when we bought the car.....funny how that happens when your wife loves the color! So it will need tires at some point. It will also need brakes. This little Red Reatta is driveable......just cautiously because of the tires. My wife with her "OV Red" license plate(hockey fan)drove it to work and loves it........ we are expecting a granson in the spring so it is time for a minivan of some sort. Questions are welcome.
