Vehicle Detail
I am selling a 2007 Chevrolet Z06 that has been fully modified by Katech engineering in Michigan to their track attack specifications. Katech is the company that successfully prepared the engines for the Leman's winning C6r Corvettes. This vehicle was purchased new and sent directly to Katech to be built as a no expense spared ultimate track day/street car. I have receipts for more than $95,000 of modifications over the car's $78,000 sticker. This car is fully sorted and street registered and legal. It has never had any body work done, runs perfectly and has been fully maintained by Katech in Michigan. I am the original owner. This car has as-much power as a ZR1 in a lighter, more responsive normally aspirated motor. The suspension is setup perfectly thanks to the input from professional race drivers Andy Pilgrim, Johnny O'Connell and Aaron Pfadt, all of whom have driven this car and contributed to its setup. In the right hands, this car would be virtually unbeatable in a track day setting. The list of modifications is extensive. The most recent dyno test on a mustang dynamometer after installation of the new intake revealed 518HP at 6080 and 484 torque at 5000rpm at the wheels. Corrected this adjusts to approximately 647.5 HP and 575lb-ft torque. It also has full traction control, active handling and abs. I have full documentation of the car with full receipts for all the modifications. Most importantly (and this took me more than a year) is that the suspension is fully sorted. The car handles perfectly as anyone who has driven it can attest. I originally purchased it and prepared it as a street-legal track day toy. The reality is that I really didn't get to the track as hoped and hence I've decided to sell. I will take $1000 deposit upon purchase and the remaining payment within 7 days. I will release the car upon payment and the title upon the funds clearing. You will not be disappointed. This car has been featured in Corvette Milestones Magazine 6/2008 "Forget about Ferraris" pg 116.
