1967 Ford Mustang Fastback 289 2V Automatic. Up for auction is a 1967 Mustang fastback with a 289 2V engine (C-code) and a C4 automatic transmission. This car has it's original 289 2V engine (block# C6AE-6015-C date code 7F13), original C4 automatic transmission and correct 9" 2.79:1 rear axle. The engine is all stock with the original 2 barrel carburetor and exhaust manifolds. The car has had torque boxes, floor pans and rear frame rails replaced as well as some body filler in the lower part of both rear quarters. The front frame rails have a couple of small holes on the bottom edge below the bumper mounts but appear very solid. The shock towers, both fenders, hood, both doors are all solid. The car has a light Ivy gold interior with standard buckets along with a floor console and fold down rear seat. The bucket seats each have a small tear in the seam as does the headliner but the interior is still very presentable. The chrome is in excellent condition, and the glass is the original tinted sun X. The car is painted Highland green with some chips and scratches but also is very presentable. There are many new parts on the vehicle including battery, both window regulators, bumpers, power steering hoses, windshield and tail light chrome trim. This is a very nice looking car with the exterior decor group and Magnum 500 wheels. The car also runs / drives well with power steering and drum brakes. The engine tag, carb tag, rear axle tag and door tag are all still in place. Please do not hesitate to ask questions or for the additional pictures of the car.
