1972 Pontiac trans am ,the car is pretty original with 51000 miles on it the 1972 is the second rarest trans am built ,with a a total production number of 1286 that year 828 automatics and 458 4spd cars ,this is a 455 ho 4spd car this car comes with all of its original manuals and yes it still has its original factory build sheet ,these cars don't come up for sale every day,the interior in the car is nice door panels and dash with no cracks,back seats are nice ,the 2 front bucket seat showing very little where the head liner is good and the visors are nice, the car has no carpet in it at this time ,the car did not come from the factory with a center consul ,i do have all the seat belts for the car there is about 60 to 70 percent of the original paint on the car,with its original stickers ,the floor pans in the car are solid ,the trunk pan has some small rust holes in it ,the rear frame rails also need a little work, and the front fender bottoms,also the doors rockers and rear quarters are also solid ,the car has its original wheels spare tire and jack the car has its original shaker hood and air cleaner ,the motor in the car is not original it is a 1974 455 motor, i was told buy the prevues owner that the motor does have the original 1972 heads and exhaust manifolds on it ,i also have the original numbers matching aluminum intake and carburetor ,the motor in the car has a edelbrock intake and carburetor on it now, there is a complete 1971 Pontiac trans am 455 motor that is rebuilt that needs to be assembled that goes with the car, so the only thing you would be missing is the 1972 block the car has it factory 10 bolt 342 rear end, and was told it does does have its original 4spd transmission, the motor in the car is not running at this time it been sitting for a while but does turn over with a battery ,the car does not have ac just power steering and brakes ,the car was built Nor wood Ohio and shipped to Pirwitx Buick Pontiac in Schofeild WI when it was new the car has a clean clear Wisconsin title, my reserve on the car is 9800 dollars please don't ask me to end the auction early ,i let my auctions run through it gives every one a chance to bid ,please don't bid if you don't have the money to pay for it also remember shipping cost money to, make sure its OK with your wife or husband be for you bid , not trying to be a jerk just stating the facts it does cost money to post these ads ,i just want a smooth transaction, i will except cash money wire or bank check the car will not leave until it is payed for in full ,i am not a bank i don't take payments, i will expect a down payment of 1000 dollars non refundable 3 days of auctions end and full payment 7 days of auctions end,buyer is responsible for pickup and transport ,i have described the car to the best of my knowledge i am no Pontiac expert but i do know the car is rare call if you have any questions 1920 779 9973 On Dec-21-11 at 14:35:19 PST, seller added the following information: the 1971 pontiac motor that goes with the car is not a 455 ho trans am motor, it is just a 71 455 motor sorry about the mistake im not trying to rip anyone off, i just listed it wrong, my mistake sorry again
