Up for sale is a 2007 Suzuki DR650 at 21000 miles. It has been my commute bike until recently. This bike runs very well, not to mention the 50 MPG gas milage. It comes with owner's manual and workshop manual. This is really a very reliable and flexible bike. On some days, I like it better than my BMW airhead. But the wife ordered me to clear up some space in garage. So I have to let it go. I have made some improvements from stock system: Added Shorai Lithium Battery, which is 5lbs lighter than common lead-acid batteries, and cranks better for cold start. Replaced stock seat with Corbin seat, which is more comfortable and better looking. Replaced stock tail light with the one from DR250 to give it a cleaner look. Added windshield made by "Screens For Bikes" in Australia. It's the best looking DR windshield out there. It is bolted on the plastic stock headlight case. Relocated choke line lever onto engine to make it less prune to rust caused by rain water. A few minor cosmetic issues, just to be clear:A couple of scratches on gear box.Some chipped spots on handle bar.Right hand side passenger peg brace is a little crooked. It's hardly noticeable and an easy replacement.Some salt deposit on brake disc and pads due to having lived on coast for a while. This bike has been garage-stored in the last couple of years.
