Car is being relisted, Amazing 49,000 mile documented survivor, 1969 Mach 1 with the legendary 428 super cobra jet power plant. This is the R-code shaker hood and very collectible model. A very early built Mach 1, October 2,1968 most likely one of the first to roll off the Metuchen N.J assembly line. The long list of factory options include C-6 Automatic transmission, Optional Axel ratio 3.50 traction Lok, F-70-14 raised white letter tires, Sport deck rear seat, Power Steering, Power Disc brakes, Tilt-Away Steering Wheel, Power Ventilation, AM/FM Stereo Radio, Tinted Glass Complete, Tachometer. Deluxe Martie report and a Ford History report verify every option. This car has about 75% original Candy Apple Red paint that has been touched up here and there and looks beautiful. The interior is original and perfect no rips or tears and everything works, including the rare tilt wheel option. No body panel replacement,original quarters,floors fenders,ect. This is not a restored,patched up and pieced together car. You just don't find cars like this any more. Every tag is on this car,the Vin,door,buck tag,engine tag, carb tag,transmission tag, rear end tag, ect. Original spark plug wires and hoses,original spare tire, sound deadener and mat. Original second set of tires are on the car from the early 1970's. This Cobra Jet Mach 1 has been very well taken care of it's entire life and never abused. Must be seen to believe the amazing original condition of this car. The 428 is a Super Cobra Jet not the standard Cobra Jet.
