Porsche 944 Listing as a nice project!! This is a great car. It belongs to my step father. I am listing it as a project because he drove this car every single day until August when he got a 350Z he had been wanting since they came out. He parked the Porsche in the garage until last week when he asked me to sell it for him. That was the first time he tried to start since parking. It turns over fine, but no start. I doubt if its the gas but I am no mechanic and neither is he. It has got to be something simple.He really loved this car and maintained it nicely. The cars interior is very nice compared to others I have seen. The exterior is nice also but a little faded from the sun. There are a couple of blemishes in the paint on the hood but still shines nicely.I can not find any dents or body damage on the car, or any signs of body work except that it has been painted in the past. There is no visible rust or signs of rust anywhere on the body or door jams.This is most likely going to be the buy of the year here on ebay. Because I am selling it as a project. It is likely that someone more knowledgable will be able to start the car and drive it away. I would prefer that you trailer it away then start the car. I am not interested in crying in front of a perfect stranger.I have no idea what if anything else the car needs. I know he had the water pump and thermostat replaced just before he bought the Z. Obviously the car is being sold AS-IS, Where IS.Please ask all questions before you bid. On Dec-14-11 at 12:58:35 PST, seller added the following information:Car is running, needed a fuse pump relay, seems to run nicely. Took it around neighborhood about 5 miles and went through all the gears. Shifts smooth and sounds great. Still listing as a project because there still may be things to address that I am not aware of at this point. Lights and turn signals work and brakes feel good also, so driving should be fine.
