2001 Volkswagon Passat GLS 2.8 LTR V6Manual 5 Speed TransmissionStandard Power Options - Power windows, locks, etc. Anti Theft System This car has been my every day driver for about a year and a half. Never failed me. I needed a truck for work which I recently purchased, no need to keep this car. Truck is pictured in background. The Good - Low Mileage for the year - 99000 Even as of 12/3/2011 New Tires on 16" Rims, less than 2000 miles on them - August 2011 Kenwood KDC-MP4032 Stereo/MP3/CD Receiver with iPod input + 6 Disc CD Changer in Trunk Factory installed amplifier in trunk. New Ignition Coil Pack - Sept 2011 New Spark Plugs - Sept 2011 New Battery - October 2011 New Headlight Bulbs - July 2011 Clutch is tight, gears shift smooth as butter. Volkswagon Factory Brand Roof Racks included with keys and tools. I never used them though, maybe the previous owner did a few times. They are in excellent shape. Excellent Gas Mileage for a V6. Good NJ Inspection thru 9/2012Oil and Filter Change 12/3/2011Air Filter Change 12/3/2011PCV Service 12/3/2011 The Bad- Paint chipped on front of hood in 2 spots. A small peeling area on front end bumper area next to grill.Check Engine Light On - ODB Reading Engine Misfires - Dealer could not resolve, said it is electrical, but they couldn't narrow it down. Engine clearly does NOT misfire.Airbag light is on - dealer said it is electrical as well, cannot resolve, keeps coming back on, does NOT show up on ODB reader.Drivers side headlight lens is hazed I only have 1 key/fob - that's all they gave me when I bought it. Anyone with VW experience knows they have electrical issues. This car in VERY GOOD condition is worth over $4300 according to KBB and recent sales. My opinion is that this car is in GOOD condition and private seller book value is $3800+. With it's minor electrical issues causing the check engine light to be on as well as the airbag light, I am asking $3599. Paid $5100 for this car in April 2010. I will consider any reasonable offer. I have title in hand and ready to transfer it to the new buyer. Engine pics are as it stands, has not been cleaned, covers keep it well protected and clean.
