this auction is for a 1966 mustang coupe. it started out as a 289, two barrel with automatic. both are not pressent and are NOT included in this auction. it was a non GT car with deluxe interior. (i think) this car was taken apart over twenty years ago and has been moved several times in that time. parts have been lost, discarded or sold off during that time. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET! if you do not see it, assume it is not there. this is a very worthwile project car. there is very little rust through on the body. (there is lots of surrface rust as you can see.) i have tried to show the actual rust holes in the body. the worst rust is in the drivers side front floor pan. there is some rust holes (small) in the other floor pans. all could be patched or replaced the pans if you want a pro job. there is a small amount of rust in one front lower corner of one door. just on the outside skin. the rest of the car if very rust free. the hood is junk. the trunk lid, 1/4 panels, front fenders, frame rails, torque boxes, trunk floor, engine compartment, wheel boxes, ect. are in good condition. there are a lot of NEW boxed items included. also there are a lot of used and duplicate items included. the seats and NEW items have been in an attic and are in good condition. the vin number on the door, fender aprin, and title all match. clean N.C. title is in hand. this is a no reserve auction, so bid to win. i can transport on an open car trailer (time perminting) for $1.75 a mile. i do not have a buy it now price. high bidder will be the new owner. i am starting low, to insure that it sells. i want it gone.
