Up for auction with no reserve is my wonderful Australian BJ73 Toyota Land Cruiser. Runs like a top, great condition, convertible hard top, used as daily driver, and clear title. Features: --3.4L 3B Toyota diesel engine. Small but bulletproof, sips fuel, mileage around 25MPG. --Equipped with dual fuel filters. Diesel engine runs great! Starts easily every time and just purrs. --Has the removeable FRP hard top. I've taken it off since I live in sunny Redondo Beach, California. Love this truck in the sun, equipped with the factory roll bar, people are always stopping to ask questions and give thumbs up. One car full of hot girls drove up, screamed, "Love your wallaby!!" then took off. Gotta love it! (Red color doesn't hurt either!) Top goes back on easily with eight bolts in ten minutes. --Famous Toyota H55F 5-speed transmission. 5th gear for easy freeway cruising, compound low range first gear for killer crawling in the rocks --Maxxis all-terrrain tires on 15" wheels --Has rust spots in doors, at corners of windshield frame, and along lower sills (which have been repaired). Floor pans and frame are great, even have original sound deadening material on the floor pans! --Australian-spec full floater rear axle --New thermostat and all new hoses and belts. Very reliable engine. --Nitpicks: windshield is scratched, hole in side of dash from previous owner to access wiring (doh!), one rear door red that doesn't quite match rest of truck, plastic grille in rear area cracked, paint fading/flaking on bottom of windshield frame, bare spot on hood. Mostly cosmetic issues. --Rockin' Pioneer CD player with iPod input --Front disc brakes --Power steering --Driver seat worn so has seat cover. All other seats are great--see photos. Rear seats fold up. --4WD works great, ditto for front hubs. Transfer case has the granny compound low first gear that means this truck can climb a tree. Literally. --ARB front bumper --Factory side steps and digital clock --Clear title, and as a 1985 can be registered in California with no smog requirements. --I welcome inspections or questions! Message me through eBay. --Overall a sweet and fun rig, runs great, very reliable, low miles, ready to be built for serious offroading or expeditions if you want, or a fuel saving daily driver. Has all the features of a normal old FJ40--removable top, roll bar etc, except this one has better things US Land Cruisers didn't get, like the full floater axle, H55F 5-speed, and of course that rugged diesel engine with loads of torque and great fuel economy.
