Up for relist due to a non-paying bidder is a 1996 Dodge Ram 4X4 extended cab, longbed pickup truck. The truck is in good condition but has an issue with the transmission; it was rebuilt approximately 7 years ago, but is now slipping intermittently (the transmission has approx. 70,000 miles on it). The problem may be related to the transmission pump or valve body. The details are as follows:

Engine: 5.9L, 8 cylinder; 273,000 miles - runs good & is dependable - some smoking upon startup

Full tow package (interior trailer controller, rear Reese hitch) w/ additional gooseneck hitch in bed

Minor repaired & repainted rust areas around wheel wells

Custom built rear bumper

Grey cloth interior, full back seat, sliding back window (**** sun caused light spots in interior photos: interior is fine and not discolored; driver's seat has slight rip on side *******)

Custom tinted windows (some peeling & driver's window rippled)

Cracked windshield (will need replaced - no leaking, but extends entire length)

Good tires (50% left) w/ aluminum rims

New radiator, newer brake job: rotors, drums, calipers & hoses (pads not replaced at that time)

Transmission rebuilt approximately 7 years ago; it has approx. 70,000 miles on it and needs service (slips intermittently). ****** Although transmission shifts fine at times, it also slips in both forward & reverse; this would necessitate having it towed or trailered home since the slipping is intermittent and unpredictable. *******

Four wheel drive is in very good condition - no issues.

All in all, this is a good truck; it will need service to the transmission or a used unit can be economically installed (cheaper than rebuild). The truck is also equipped with air bag additional suspension system; the air bags were added to help with heavy towing & loads and are a great help when hauling or towing extra heavy loads (the bags are adjustable or can be let down completely when not needed). Also to note is a crack in the dash, and minor rust in the lower inside door areas (this rust is minor and has not been treated). This truck also has rhino-lining added to the rockers to protect & cover dings/scratches (please see pix). ********
