Hi, let me start by saying I am selling this vehicle for a friend. He is the original owner of the vehicle which was purchased from the VW dealer as a floor model. The vehicle has spent some time in CO. But there is no rust what so ever on this vehicle. The vehicle is a 2001 VW Jetta GL with 2.0 Liter 4 cylinder engine, automatic, with power windows, mirrors, locks, sun roof, heated seats, radio/cassette player. I will try to give my best Description of the Vehicle so there are not surprises when you pick it up. EXTERIOR: The clear coat on the hood, roof and trunk lid is sun faded. The sides of the vehicle still shine with a polish. The front bumper and spoiler were replaced with an aftermarket one, but never painted. There are minor scratches and door dings expected from a 10 year old vehicle. All lights work, the front headlighs are also sun faded. INTERIOR: It has Leather Seats and there are no rips or crack in the leather. Could maybe use a nice wipe down with conditioner to bring it to a shine. The carpet is clean as well, except for a minor hole in the floor board on the drivers foot rest due to wear and tear. The door handle on the glove compartment has broken off, but you still can open the glove box by pulling on the lever inside. The ashtray cover is off its track. The drivers side window goes up and down but makes a ratling noise as if the motor gears are slipping, (most likely it will need to be replaced eventually) the passengers front door does the same but only if you keep pressing the up switch. The back windows work fine. All other electric items work, radio is has cassette player but there is a connection in the trunk for a CD changer. MOTOR: The engine runs great, there are no check engine lights, It did have an issue with the throtle body, but it looks like it was just due to some carbon buildup, I have cleaned it since and now its working fine. It also has a recent oil change and new air filter. TRANSMISSION: Shifts smoothly. BRAKES: The vehicle has New front brake pads and the rear brakes pads still have about 80% life on them. TIRES: The front tires have about 5/32's and the rear tires have 7/32's Please email me at jorgeengelland@hotmail.com with any questions or if you would like to see this vehicle in person.
