1970 Buick Elecrta 225 Green 2dr hardtop coupe Original 455 motor with 81,000 miles, 4bbl carb, 400 3speed trans I have had this 225 since 2001 and I am the 3rd owner. Over the years I have replaced exahust system(dual pipes now), radiator(heavy duty), water pump, thermostat, rear wheel cyclinder, distributer & cap rotor, new battery last year, tires(newest 1 last month), vinly top(last year), rear main seal(last year) and belts and hoses as well as normal maintaneince. I drive it weekly just not on the interstate due to the rear brakes being weak. Everything on this car is original all the way down to the paint. I have the original manuals, radio, body chassis manual and other booklets that originally came with it in 1970. This is one solid old school, all the hinges on doors and trunk & hood are tight and work perfect. There are still a few things that will need to be done to make it perfect. Here is my to do list for repairs that i have not gotten around to doing, a rear brake line or cyclinder is leaking(rear master cyclinder drains), transmission pan leaks(I think its the gasket), a/c needs new compressor, small area of rust on the driver floor pan with a couple rust thru spots(1 pea size and 1 dime size see last 2 pics). The interior will need new carpet, headliner, and the tear in the driver seat fixed, other than that the interior is in good condition. I have over $4500 invested in this car and I dont have time to finish due to kids/work and I just bought a house.
