Up for auction is a super nice all original 1971 Honda CB450K4 Motorcycle with only 3,116 original miles. Has the numbers matching engine CB450E-4119292 Everything on this bike is original just how it came from the dealer 40 years ago. This amazing machine has been stored inside a house since 1988, no joke. I purchased this CB in the summer of 2010 from the original owner. I have the original clear title from 1972 when he bought it from the dealership, looks like it was last registered in 88 as he stated. I did not register this bike so the winning bidder will be the second owner. When the original owner purchased this CB450 he added 4 accessories parts. It has the original luggage rack, crash bar, and I also have the sissybar, and Beck windshield. The only things that has been installed is a new battery, new NGK plugs, fresh oil, one fuel line, gas tank rubber seal, petcock screen filter and seal, 4 front fender screws, and a cotterpin for the rear axle Thats It. Beautiful original gold flake paint in excellent condition with no touch-ups. Just one bad spot by the fuel cap I will leave that up to the winning bidder to touch it up or not. There are no dents or dings in the tank or side covers. Near mint original Honda seat that has Not been recovered. It still has the original Dunlop made in Japan tires with the correct 1971 date codes. After cleaning the tank and carburetors she started right up, and the electric starter works perfectly. All of the electronic items work great turn signals, horn, head and tail light, brake lights, ect... The motor sound great nice and smooth it does not smoke or leak fluids. The carbs might need to be fine tuned. Even has the original Honda air filters. Here is a list of the very minor flaws: The front brake pads drag sometimes and should be fixed. I would recommend a good lookover / tuneup before riding. There is one stiff link on the chain. The original tires are in excellent condition with no cracks or rot, except for one spot on the tread of the rear tire there is some cracks nothing major. Tiny ding on front fender so small I couldn't get a photo of it. The starting of a rust spot on rear fender (in pics). Some scratches on the side of rear rim, looks like someone tried to replace the tube (in pics). It looks like some brake fluid got on the handlebar clamp and the right fork boot (in pics). Thats it everything else is in very nice condition. This would be a perfect CB450 to add to a collection as they are so hard to find in this nice of condition. Or ride this beauty and time travel back to 1971. Its a clean and unmolested original that has survived against all odds.
