Hello. I am selling a 1949 Mercury Sedan. It was recently purchased and brought to Ohio. It came out of a barn in Georgia so it has not seen harsh winters or salty roads. It was in the barn since 1976. It still has the Phillips 66 maintenence stickers on it from before it was stored. It is all original and has not been cut up or hot rodded. This would be a great restoration back to original or customize it to your liking. This car is real solid top and bottom. There are a few tiny rust holes that we know of. One is in the lower rear quarter on the drivers side (2in. spot), the other is in the lower drivers fender(2in. spot). There are also about 2-3 dime size holes in the floor but that is it, the rest is solid. The original flathead is in the car and is not stuck. All of the trim and front end pieces are in the back seat. I just bought this car a few weeks ago on ebay with the intentions of making it into a 50's style custom. I was very happy with the car and would love to keep it but I also just purchased another car that I am going to do instead so the Mercury has to find a new home. I have a clear Ohio title in my name. The reserve is low for this kind of car in this condition so it's priced for a quick sale. It's located about 20 miles north of Cincinnati, OH.
