1983 Mercedes 300DT with Sunroof, 212K Orig. Miles. Vin #: WDBAB33A2DB036009 Color: Thistle Green Exterior, Beige Tex Interior, Beige Carpet. I am the second owner of this vehicle. It was given to me a few years ago by a friend of mine. Everything is original and works as it should – power windows, sunroof, power locks etc... It was professionally maintained while my friend owned it – I have maintained it since then. Geographical History of vehicle: Originally purchased in CA, re-located to Dallas, TX, Bloomfield Hills, MI., and finally to Dublin, OH. – Currently in Troy, MI. Chronological Vehicle Repair History: 1) 165K (approx.) - Automatic Transmission professionally replaced (re-manufactured) 2) 193K – New Tires: Front and Rear 3) 199K: a. Rear Differential replaced (used) – seals and gears were all good. b. Rear Axles replaced – both LH and RH side. c. Front Brakes: 1. Replaced Calipers (ATE) (re-manufactured). 2. Replaced Rotors and Brake Shoes. d. Rear Brakes: 1. Replaced Calipers (ATE) (re-manufactured). 2. Replaced Rotors and Brake Shoes. e. Replaced Parking Brake Shoes. 4) 207K: Engine Belts Replaced – All. a. Replaced Glow Plugs and Engine Block Heater Cord 5) 210K a. New Battery – (Everstart – Wal Mart) b. New Starter (Bosch) (re-manufactured) c. Radiator Hoses Replaced – Upper, Lower and Auxiliary. Vehicle has AC - It works, according to my friend. I have never used it – system needed Freon and I never added it. The AC belt broke after I replaced the belt and I never put another one on since I didn’t use AC. The compressor needs to be aligned correctly so belt won’t break... Included With Sale: Original owner’s manual and documentation, illustrated parts book (German), ORIGINAL TOOLKIT. Extra belts (new), RR Wheel Bearings and MB Tool #M0027, Pin wrench socket, for bearing replacement (RR Bearings on vehicle OK - I thought they were bad when I was working on rear end...), misc. parts and Haynes Repair Manual – see photos. Alpine CDA – 9853, CD & MP3 Stereo – I have original radio and speakers. Note: Vehicle engine leaks oil and the front suspension needs work.
