Description: Here's the deal..I bought this jeep in non running condition....I don't think there is very much wrong with it.. I knew the fellow that owned it..and he drove it every day..but one day it wouldn't start..and he (or others) decided they'd "fix it"..well, it's apart..and they lost interest. I bought it figuring the worst I'd have to do is repower it completely..by dropping in another engine..but to be truthful, I doubt that it need a new engine..probably just someone working on it that knows what they are doing. The radiator is in the back seat.. I think the head is still on it (I didn't look)..and it ought to be cleaned up and put back together in a presentable way on the interior with a couple of hours work. If I were you, I'd figure on a rebuilt engine, at worst, and maybe something simple at best..but in the end, it's on the money..and it's NO RESERVE! I took a punch and hammer down to the jeep today..and tapped the frame just ahead of the weld point on the shackles..and it seems very strong to me. The paint is still on the frame. I suppose it could "rot out" from inside..but I think I would've heard it with the hammer and punch. For what it's worth..
